This actually seems to happen regardless of whether or not I have the idol - the amount displayed after you hit negotiate, whether you succeed or fail, is often incorrect and doesn't match what it should be.

Some more:

If I'm dragging an idol to socialize and that idol is automatically pulled into another room (practice, styling etc) the idol's portrait gets stuck on the mouse cursor. Nothing breaks and you can drag a different idol to make it go away. Edit: "Socialize" gets stuck on display on your room, though, and that doesn't go away.

Switching from Compact view to Full view for idols will add an extra copy of the idols list every time (so you get to the last idol and under it will be the whole menu including the "new group" button).

Compact view does not show idols in sister groups.

Canceling a practice/styling/doctor session by clicking on the idol portrait or using the idol menu will make the staffer idle. Doctors are especially buggy since their auto actions are still toggled on, and so you need to toggle a new action or deselect an old one to make them work again.

The "no critical failure" card for concerts doesn't seem to do anything at all.

Trying to release a non-election single with the election concert ready to go triggered the concert music and locked the game. Upon closing and reloading, it automatically started the concert with buggy (white square) idol portraits and didn't release the non-election single.

Edit:

More:

You can't set an automatic style in the "auto practice" menu for idols (it doesn't select the option and will de-select any other options you have).

If you click promotion/performance/spa treatment right as the day is about to end with an active queue, it replaces the next item on your queue.

If you remove items from the queue when it's full, you can't queue up additional things until the next day.

I have an idol with the trait that makes negotiations for photoshoots never fail, and while it shows that it succeeded (+10% etc), the amount of money they're being paid still goes down.

I haven't played in a while and the game may have updated since but are you picking girls for each song when you do concerts? The most popular girls always give the biggest boost.

Is it okay to keep posting individually or should I just condense all of these into one post by editing it? I'm just posting as I find them.

Dates on the special event log seem a little wonky.

Elections are all displaying the date of the most recent election.

Concert dates seem to show when the concert was conceived rather than when it happened (it happened with the election, I was waiting for the 6mo cooldown).

This happens to me consistently as well every time I restart the game.

The last 4 staff hired will always appear in the staff list as if not assigned to a room, despite still being assigned in the room itself. You can fix it by clicking each room and removing them manually, then reassigning.

It's always the 4 most recently hired staff members.

And another one:

https://puu.sh/CG1RU/c9072752e9.jpg

This happened because I got a message about scalpers selling tickets for a concert while I already had a message about a scandal (the game wasn't paused and is still running in the background). After I dealt with the scalper one, the screen looks like this and the other one is gone.

I can't click anything or cancel out of this screen, so the only solution was to force close the game.

Hi again.

One of my idols is, um, very... very depressed.

https://puu.sh/CG1dD/9cb35b6c79.jpg

How this happened was that she had 52 physical stamina, and I took a photoshoot job that cost 51 stamina (I specifically chose her because she had the stamina). Unsure what her mental stamina was before that, but I do know it wasn't low.

Edit: Oh! When I closed and reloaded the game due to the bug below, her mental stamina was changed to 0.

And another one!

After hiring some idols in an audition (was nationwide and I hired 4 out of the 5, not sure if that's relevant) the dialogue for the idol wouldn't come up, and clicking around would just click the background elements as if the idol wasn't there:

https://puu.sh/CFQU7/b75fedb493.jpg

Just in case it's relevant, this idol's trait is Forgiving and she had a gold background and a rating of 80.

I'm not sure what triggered it, I'll try to reproduce it again.

Edit: Happened again in another audition, I didn't do anything particularly different. 2 hires, first one was gold, the other was silver.

Okay, thank you!

Downloaded the newest update today!

Please let us remove idols from hiatus, maybe with a penalty?

Please let there be a way to improve the skills of doctors even if no idols are injured or depressed. Maybe a doctor visit can help recover physical or mental stamina?

#3: not sure if bug or intentional, but one of my idols got depressed. I dragged her to the doctor's office for treatment, which reduced the # of days she'd need to recover. I tried to drag her again for more treatment, but it wouldn't work (I'd drag, drop, and treatment wouldn't begin at all). My only recourse then was to put her on hiatus (which I can't cancel out of, so she's completely out of commission).

Another one: looks like a white rectangle is sometimes acting as a placeholder image whenever there aren't at least 3 girls in a formation (this also happened when I launched an internet show with a rotating cast - 3 white rectangles). This was a single with just 2 idols in the formation. A single with just 1 idol didn't have this problem.

I just downloaded the latest update, and the little flask icons showing research points accumulating weren't displaying for coaches  when they're idle, but instead displayed when they started coaching or producing (research points are still only earned when they're idle).

https://puu.sh/CFLz6/3d0e338481.png

Edit: OK, update: they weren't displaying at all when they were idle, then started displaying when they got busy, and now they're just displaying permanently - both when they're busy AND when they're idle.

Son of Edit: This is also happening with the Manager in my game now:

Grandson of Edit: Started happening to the producer as well:

Tricx147 already said some of this, but here are some more details:

- Hire cheap staff with stars in Coaching (dance and music) and Production (manager).
- Wait for enough Research points to get one skill per staffer (make sure the manager skill is digital sales and the producer skill is a music genre!) to be able to release a single.
- As soon as you're able, start releasing digital singles. You can work on many at the same time (4, so each staffer works on one at a time). Put your best idol as the center.
- Once you have 5 singles (digital only is OK), do a concert. You can change the ticket price! Adjust it to as high as you can while keeping attendance at 100%.
- As soon as you're able, unlock photoshoots with your manager's Research points, and have them try to find deals.

If you've reached this point you should have enough money that you won't go bankrupt anymore.

You may already be working on some of these (or maybe they're in the game and I missed it) so I apologize if they're redundant!

- The dance/vocal staffers with no stars in coaching can't coach any girls at all since they cap at a stat of 1 (I've never rolled a girl with a 0). This can lock you out of coaching altogether unless you can afford another staffer, and even then they just sit there consuming resources uselessly due to the need for scandal points.  This doesn't happen with the managers since even managers with a 0 in deals can still do business proposals, and 0 stars in production doesn't stop any staffer from producing. It just feels bad to have an "incomplete" staffer, so to speak, and makes the staffers that start with stars in coaching much more valuable.

- Loans can be hard to find. Some kind of shortcut to loans from the money indicator in the UI if your money's running low or is in the negative would be pretty useful, especially for new players who make bad choices of room purchases at the start (you pretty much need loans if you build every room except an office).

- I know you can see how much stamina (and weekly stamina) an idol has when choosing them for business proposals and shows (mostly through tooltips) but making it more easily visible (or at least a warning that it'll go negative if you accept/launch) would be helpful.

- Singles on physical media feel a bit underwhelming between having production costs and no knowledge of projected unit sales - it'd be nice to know how many units you're potentially going to sell, like projected ticket sales for concerts.

- TV Drama contracts are very very taxing on stamina (sometimes needing 60+ weekly), so they feel a little underwhelming compared to other proposals, even with the other benefits. Since girls need stamina for concerts and other gigs, I often find myself passing on drama contracts unless the stamina cost per week is low.

- It feels like girls' fame and production skills for staffers rise very slowly compared to coaching and business proposal skills, which can be maxed relatively quickly.

- The producer's influence rises extremely slowly right now, could never get it to above 2 and a half stars.

- Research is expensive (especially considering your staff can't be doing anything at all to get research points) and the related skills rise very slowly. With more money than I know what to do with, max coaching/business and production skills in the 80s, I barely have any genres at higher than rank 5 - the balance seems a little off.

- World Tours seem very accessible very early on, especially considering they're the final requirement for gain per performance. You'll have been able to go on several of those before reaching rank 10 on a specific genre (previous requirement).

- Getting ¥100,000 for a photoshoot job (promotion lv.5 requirement) is really easy. ¥100,000/w from advertisement (lv.4 requirement), however, seems to require several rank ups. Typically by the time I manage to hit that amount, +350 fans are negligible (they'll be in the hundreds of thousands or millions - I tend to focus on pumping out singles and concerts).

- As a whole Promotion seems objectively inferior to Performance except for very very early on, all things considered.

- Media seems to be the fastest way to increase fame with a fixed cast but I've never managed to turn a profit from it and it's super taxing on the girls' stamina.

- Active shows should probably be on top of the list at all times by default, they can get buried under canceled shows, I think?

- When you have a ton of idols it can be really difficult to find them in the list and/or tell them apart. More color variations in the assets would really help with telling them apart visually. It'd probably also help if auditions couldn't give you hairstyles you already have on your roster (unless repeats are unavoidable, but that's where varying colors would really come in handy) since the idol's face tends to be the main visual cue you get and the hair is the main thing that sets them apart (faces help, but much less).

If an idol is currently practicing vocals or dance, they sometimes can't be added to a concert lineup (neither songs nor talk breaks work). Not sure what triggers it, it doesn't seem to happen consistently.

Edit: This also happens when adding idols to lineups for media (internet, tv, radio shows). Exact same problem, idols currently practicing can't be selected.
